We are delighted to announce the 10 poems on this year’s Bangor Poetry Competition Shortlist. These poems will be published in our online gallery on Wednesday 1st October at 9pm. You can read the 10 shortlisted poems on the theme of ‘Time and Place’ and vote on your first, second and third favourite pieces. Voting closes at midnight on Friday 3rd October.
The 10 shortlisted poets are invited to read their poems at the Aspects Festival event in beautiful Bangor Castle on Sunday 5th October at 3pm, where the winner of the 12th Annual Bangor Poetry Competition will be announced. Grab your free tickets for this gorgeous event via the link below- come along with family and friends- refreshments served upon arrival.
