We would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to Anne McDonald on winning The 12th Annual Bangor Poetry Competition, which is part of Aspects Literary Festival. Anne’s powerful poem ‘Your side of the Bed’ was voted the winner of this year’s competition, by public votes from all over the globe. Jen Herron’s ‘Before and After Picture’ came Runner Up in this year’s competition, which asked poets to send their best poems on the theme of ‘Time and Place’.
