We are finalising the details of the 13th Annual Bangor Poetry Competition… and the Longlist will be available HERE soon! Then, the 10 Shortlisted Poems will be ready to view in our online gallery, where you can get stuck in and do your voting duty, from 10am on Saturday18/09 until Tuesday 22/09 at 10pm. We apologise for any delays, there has been such a huge response to the competition this year- and as a two person editorial team, we wanted to make sure that every individual entry has been given the attention it deserves. All poems are read (anonymously) twice, and the standard has been so high, that picking a longlist and shortlist has been both an adventure and a challenge!
From 10am tomorrow the TEN poems in the running for the award will be displayed in our online gallery and members of the public can vote on their favourite 1st, 2nd and 3rd poems. The Winner of this year’s competition will be announced at a very special Aspects Festival event. Grab your complimentary ticket HERE:
The 10 shortlisted poets will be invited to read their poem at the event at Bangor Castle.
