The Bangor Literary Journal is a triannual online literary journal which showcases outstanding poetry, flash fiction and artwork and more.
We welcome submissions from writers and artists at any stage of their career.
The journal is run by Editors Amy Louise Wyatt and Paul Daniel Rafferty.
Our first online issue was launched on 28th February 2018. We have three physical launches each year, where contributors are invited to read their selected work.
We also feature artists, poets, writers, photographers and musicians within the journal.
In conjunction with the journal, Amy and Paul run The Bangor Poetry Competition, The FORTY Words Competition, Poetry and a Pint and Readings at Dusk; and are based at The Blackberry Path Art Studios in Bangor.
The journal works closely with local festivals such as: Aspects Literary Festival and Open House Festival.
This is a labour of love. We thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm.
We are based in the beautiful seaside city of Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. However, we welcome submissions from all over the world!
